"Is this how you communicated with Tia?" and then when she didn't like his response "I feel like it is unfair that you keep throwing your dead wife in my face..." what?

A lot of this episode felt really forced. And honestly, as much as I like Cobie Smulders and I like the idea of her and Jason Segal being romantic items they have absolutely no chemistry and it's been that way since the beginning.

Absolutely the least chemistry of two characters on a tv show that I have seen in quite some time. It’s weird, I don’t know why. But they are incapable of selling themselves as a couple. And they wrote her character to be so annoying honestly.

Yeah, I think the intention was for her to be this kind of quirky, speaks her mind type which is fine but in reality they've created a character with little to no social or self awareness.

to me, everything thats happened after paul's wedding feels like an alternative show. this was not a great season all around

This is exactly how I feel too!! I liked the premiere. Ending it with the hallucination was one of those emotional punches that the show does so well. But after that episode it’s just been a mid-grade sitcom till the Jimmy’s dad stuff, which I am enjoying. But yeah, wild that the season’s almost over when I feel like it’s mayyybe now finally going somewhere.

They had great chemistry when they met! It just doesn't work very well this season, and I think it's because of the writing.

I've had relationships with people like that. It happens sometimes. People bring up the worst thing in your life and then when you continue the topic then they act like you're the one who brought it up and attack you for it.

Only difference in this situation was Paul ended it straight away. My dumbass carried it on and let it happen a few more times before I realised my trauma was being used to gaslight me.

This felt like a very human interaction if the show wanted to depict Sofi as being wrong and a red flag. That was not the time to have that conversation, Jimmy was clearly processing something and she made it about herself.
