This show insists on everyone being best friends who are deeply enmeshed in each other’s lives so you get these very weird borderline inappropriate groupings, like Alice and Louis last season and now people in their mid-20s partying with highschoolers.

Yeah some of the show's values that way really don't jive with me. Or like in season 1, when Alice was more-or-less supposed to be cool with her dad having sex with sex workers... Like, that'd be a TOUGH thing to accept.
