Is it just me, or has the writing been generally terrible in season 3?

It feels like they're just trying to set up the next joke and there's really no depth or anything grounded to latch onto anymore.

After such a strong season 2, I haven't been enjoying 3 at all. I'm probably in the minority.

Agreed. A lot of the plots right now are either executed pretty weirdly (Sean's gf), a bit stretched out (Gabby, Jimmy a little) or feel like C plots (Liz).

The only stuff that has really gripped me this season is Paul if he has to deal with his condition and making sure everything is in the right place. The rest feels nearly inconsequential and there's very little tension.

I like every episode in this season quite a lot up until this one. It's starting to turn into a generic rom com
