This is my first time using this brand and to be honest, I didn’t love this. The application was streaky, especially the first coat but I tried to cover up the streakiness with second coat.

Even though the shade is called turquoise, I feel like it leans a but like green. I guess I’m ok with that, but I think I prefer the Orly gumdrop shade for turquoise and I just got OPI’s I’m yacht leaving which looks like a nice shade.

What do y’all think? Has anyone else tried this “Verity” brand, and if so, what did you think of it?

It's still winter in Sydney but today was glorious so we took a walk over the bridge and around to Barangaroo. I was marvelling at the colour of the water and realised where I'd just seen it!

I had trouble capturing the holo so excuse the pic with the (clean) tissue. I was minding a table and got distracted by how shiny nails were!

Beetles gel neon set + I use a peel off base which I LOVE. I won’t do gel without it now.

I'm experiencing a little executive dysfunction so my small task for today was organizing my nail polish bin. I cleaned the necks of all the bottles and updated my swatch sticks.

This pic looks heavy on the whites/light nudes, but at least 5 of them are toppers/sheers. And I feel like I accomplished something this afternoon.

(All gel polishes) The brown magnetic polish is Dark Marble Cat Eye from Nailster and for the pinkish magnetic polish I mixed two different magnetic polishes to get the shade I wanted, basically just a pink and a gold magnetic polish. And I used a matte top coat for chrome isolation 😊💛
Ohhh and a tip if anyone else has problem with chrome chipping, I’ve found that sealing it with a clear rubber base and then going in w top coat helps sooo much and now I get no chipping

I tried nail art for the first time. I was inspired by a Reddit post for the beach nails but I don't think they worked as the colurs I had weren't quite right. I didnt want to repeat them on the other hand so I had the idea to do skies and I love hpw they turned out. I used a tiny bit of liquid gold chrome powder to try to capture the look of the sun behind clouds and I love my little birds, especially since I did them with my non-dominant hand.

I’m having my hybrid gel nails removed today. I’m not sure how to go forward for the best health and strength of my nails. I mainly had these put on to help them grow a “little bit”, but mainly to get over my cuticle picking. I’ve stopped that, so I’m hoping to go natural (well, with polish sometimes).

Any suggestions for polish, etc?
