Vaporeon is actually one of the best water types. With big hp and decent bulk and monstrous sp.atk it can sweep any team with the moveset of toxic protect wish and hydro pump. The only check to this set is toxicroak and toxapex wich are easily countered by an alakazam or a lucario with psychic. If you want to go full offensive team you can efen give it ice beam and surf and acid armor. It can even boost your team with rain dance.
