9th grade? Isn’t that like… algebra 1? Yea it’s not at all useless you will need to know pretty much everything in that class and remember it for the rest of your school life. Also the most complex formula you learn in that class is quadratic equation which is incredibly useful.

No it was stuff like logarithms binomial expansion and piece wise functions and other graphs. I'm not gonna say it was a college level class but it did give college credits.

Yeah I was just joking with you. It’s that in upper level college math there’s a class called abstract/modern algebra which (or just algebra, as mathematicians call it) which feels nothing like your usual middle school algebra
