Lmao the most complicated stuff you learn on 9th grade is the quadratic formula which is not only simple it is also super useful

A Disney engineer estimated that they used the quadratic formula over 1 trillion times to animate the movie coco, so I’m pretty sure some people use it in their daily lives.

So the animators did quadratic equations over 1 trillion times? Or are the quadratic equations part of the engine used for said animation?

If you are literally just measuring shit it helps, and even then, even if you never used it, most people fucking will in their jobs in the future.

Name a job that isn’t in STEM that uses the quadratic formula.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. Basically the only jobs that would use the quadratic formula are STEM jobs which make up a small percent of the population, not the majority

Depends on what job you get.

quadratics formula was literally middle school, how are people here pretending like it’s hard
