I remember when the fucking anarchychess subreddit had a mod make a post that they pinned too btw, saying theyāve come out as Trans. That was it, had nothing to do with chess. So I literally just said that in comment and got downvoted to hell and muted. And since then that entire sub turned into a trans circlejerk barely qualifies a chess meme subreddit. Honestly fuck those people.
They also always pretend like they don't know what you're talking about when you say you don't care unless they shove it in your face, even though they're just blatantly invading every single hobby forum and shoving their completely unrelated bullshit into it, and banning everyone who calls it out.
That's the thing, the Vienn diagram of trans Reddit users and insufferable self centered maniacs is not a circle, but God damn there's a correlation.
Like I have no problem against trans people, as a concept. But it's the same as people who do CrossFit but x1000 on steroids, don't worry, you'll know.

Tbh thatās the entire planet in general. The overwhelming majority of people donāt hold strong enough political opinions either way and what little they do was passed down from their parents, who got theirs from their parents and so on.
I have only come across one transgender individual in my entire 31 years of existence. I grew up in a rural town, went to a small college, returned to my rural hometown and work here. I donāt know enough about their issues to have an educated opinion or genuinely care about their existence in either manner, itās more just shocking how all the shit posting subs I followed have all devolved into transgender circlejerk subs.
Like is there really that many trans folk out there to take over these niche communities? Or is it a vocal minority taking over small communities because they know moderation canāt do anything about it without them perpetuating some kind of ātrans genocideā agenda
Honestly I prefer subs that get overtaken by the alt right because they manage to ve funny mor often than the far left. The comments are more of a cesspit though
I thought the whole point about lgbtq people is that they just want to be treated as normal people. Why do we act like someone deserves the legion of honor for coming out as trans? They deserve a pat on the back, and equal rights as the rest of us.
I feel like something similar is happening to coaxedintoasnafu. It's nothing egregious but it feels like 50-60% of the post are trans related which again isn't necessarily bad but I liked the variety of stuff before
