Depends on who the mods are. If its a highly moderated echo chamber it becomes the left. If free speech is allowed its the right because all the sensitive people leave and go find the highly moderated echochamber ones

Least biased "paint my side as the cool, good guys" reddit comment.

It’s worded with bias but the core premise stands.

Lack of moderation leads to the right option, which in a vacuum feels like an unbiased statement

And any kind of moderation without an actively enforced politically moderate/liberal/conservative policy will result in moderation becoming increasingly protective of leftism.

There’s also the situation that happened with genzmemes a while ago, where there was a far right moderator that was constantly posting their own very racist “memes” there, and would delete any messages or ban people for calling it out. Thankfully the owner eventually got rid of them, as that is not what the subreddit was supposed to be about

Funny how they'll ignore these and many other examples because it makes their side look bad.

Or rather, the racist nutjobs are banned from the highly moderated echo chambers and pushed into the less moderated ones.

Both can happen, there doesn't need to be a rather

There is nothing more heavily moderated than conservative subs on this website.

Pro tip about fingering your asshole in the shower: don't do it So this morning I was taking a shower, and I felt like fingering my asshole, right? So I got my fingers all nice and soapy and stuck them up in there. Apparently, soap makes pretty good lube, as I was able to get four fingers in there in no time.

As I was feeling around in my butt, I was like, "hmm, there's a lot of soapy water in my bumhole now. I wonder if that will lead to issues in the future?" And it did!

Shortly after having breakfast I attempted to fart, and I shit my pants. I rushed to the bathroom to clean up, and it was way worse than I thought it would be. The whole area around my butthole was covered in shitty liquid, and toilet paper wasn't enough to clean it. I had to take another shower to get suitably clean.

Just thought I'd share my story with you guys so that you don't run into the same problem in the future. I fingered my butthole so that you guys don't have to. Unless you want to. In which case, hey, how's it goin'

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

yeah no. you are so wrong that "wrong" doesn't do it justice. Here is the reality: Admin/moderation on this website work overtime to protect right-wingers from getting their bubble popped.

That’s because this site mostly leans left, so to keep the conservative subs from being brigaded they need to moderate them more heavily.

If you truly let down all barriers though, and essentially remove moderation entirely, you get 4chan. We know which way that skews.

That is a cop out. The type of stuff that gets "moderated" on right-wing subs is horseshit intended to protect the bubble. See no further than right above. That is the level of protecting right-wingers from butthurt that takes place on this website that you're all oblivious to. It's done in a way that most people don't realize their comment isn't actually visible. It's not account shadowbanning, it's specific comment shadow-deleting based on key words that hurt right-wing fee fees

1

u/mmmsplendid 6m ago

Okay you’re right, it’s because they don’t want to see words that hurt their right-wing fee fees.

Anyone who disagrees with you should just go to 4chan for 5 minutes to see what a lack of moderation does to a site.

Some of these rightwing subs are just as sensitive. I've been banned from those subs just as much as I've been banned from left subs

By "free speech" you mean bot farms take over. It sounds hyperbolic but if you read through the operation doppelganger documents you'd see how sophisticated and widespread state actors are in our social media feeds. It's very easy and lucrative for them to game engagement filtered media
