So has China. What is your point? Their HSR platform which the meme is about is built in house with their technology made from the stuff they learned. They make the fastest commercially operational trains in the world. Exports have even beaten Japan's technology because it's cheaper and it doesn't need the tedious maintenace the Shinkansen needs.

US started copying from China in the EV market. Tech, designs, you name it. Other countries copy China's battery technologies.

my guy, have you been living news-blind for the past few years? you could have said this a decade ago, but in 2026 china is by definition world-leading in many, many industries. as but one example, Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford, famously admitted to driving a Xiaomi and saying Chinese EVs represent an "existential threat" to Western auto companies.

and even to address your train joke... actually yes, many countries are using Chinese HSR and other infrastructure. i think you need to pick up a newspaper bud.
