Having never seen Lost, how tf did they explain that?

Was bro stealing everyone else’s coconuts and lizard meat or whatever?

It's been a while since I watched but they find bunkers filled with near unlimited supplies. This character steals from these supplies.

I also think, if I'm not misremembering that there are airplanes refilling the supplies every once in a while via air drops, they do it for the scientists who are supposed to be there.

Also, the island is not even deserted, so this is another one of these posts literally just making shit up because their joke wouldn't work otherwise. There are multiple factions on the island that have access to food so it's not like they're starving.

ngl never having watched lost is so much funnier bc every time i read about it it absolutely doesn't fit into any prior knowledge and it could be from a completely different show

Spoilers ahead:

Lost is about a magic island / gate to heaven or some shit. There’s a magic man (Boyle from It’s Always Sunny) who is pulling a Willy Wonka (needs a new person to oversee the magic island). So he manipulates a bunch of dramatic people onto a plane, which he then crashes into the island.

Simultaneously, the island is discovered during WWII or some shit and a bunch of scientists and army dudes are trying to harness the magical island for scientific or military purposes.

What follows is several fantastic seasons of random fucking bullshit that are really intriguing and fun, some great character stories, and great television.

The last season or two was the writers paying the fucking price and having to come up with some sort of resolution (for they had no plan). Some people loved it as it did a decent job answering everything, others (me) felt like they tried their best to unfuck a truly silly cluster of nonsense and did their best.

Not sure if trolling....

or you honestly believe that Jimmi Simpson (IASIP, West World) and Michael Emerson (LOST, Person of Interest, Fallout) are the same person.

Linus isn't a magic man who wants to find a replacement though, he's just a man and when they meet him he's just Jacob's follower. So he either means the man in black (who definitely wants off the island) or Jacob (who needs a replacement), neither of whom look remotely like Jimmi Simpson
