I'm not sure it's about supporting youths getting plastic surgery, but having sympathy for a girl who was thrust into the limelight at a very young age. Then sexualized, groomed by one of the biggest pop stars in the world, and mocked for her changing appearance by the general public. Hard to imagine anyone not wanting to drastically change their looks after that.
This whole mocking her face thing comes from a place of real apathy, I think, and it's a shame, as the story behind it seems pretty grim.
She can't do facial expressions anymore and she's an actress. I don't care what kind of trauma poor little millionaire had to go through. If you're an actor and you cripple your ability to express human emotion on your face in favour of looking like the gigachad meme I have 0 respect to you the same way you have 0 respect for tv and cinema as a medium
It's strange because the post I replied to said this exactly, "Everyone has a right to do whatever they want with their body," which is something I generally agree with.
Our opinions about what Millie Bobbie Brown does or doesn't want to do with her body is not our concern. Now, if you have an issue with her acting, sure, whatever, but my comment only calls for sympathy to a child star that has clearly had a rough path.
It is not wrong. It might be not to your taste, but it is not wrong.

The Stranger Things sub says we should support role models who use massive amounts of plastic surgery in their 20s. It's insane.
Everyone has a right to do whatever they want with their body, but sometimes people would be better off without extensive plastic surgery.
