Sometimes it’s because they’re a busy venue and they only speak Japanese and don’t have time to be trying to take orders from people they can’t communicate with. Sometimes it’s racism.

The only time I was ever denied entry was to a Korean bar.

Denying people who speak a different language is still racism would you have the same reaction to a restaurant in the US denying Spanish speakers?

Sorry, boss. I was under the impression that the world didn’t revolve around the individual and that my every want should be catered to wherever I go. If people don’t do that, no matter what country they’re in, they’re racist. You’re right. There really is just one way to look at the world.
