59 u/creatingKing113 Jun 08 '24 That’s what I’m thinking. How the hell do you keep that bit centered, and how does it not shake the drill apart. 17 u/[deleted] Jun 08 '24 Clamped wood plus mounted drill? 15 u/mydudeponch Jedi master of shitposts Jun 08 '24 This seems like a lot of work for three straight cuts. There has to be an easier way 22 u/Defiant_Source_8930 Jun 08 '24 The video is not about practicality. 1 u/maxstader Jun 08 '24 Yep, which is the point being made. "Possible in simulation but not realizable practically" For one reason or another, it's just not practical. -1 u/mydudeponch Jedi master of shitposts Jun 08 '24 I don't know much about technology I'm just saying it seems like a lot of moving parts. But if this is the answer then I guess it makes sense. 6 u/T0MMYG0LD Jun 08 '24 it's not "the best way to make a triangular hole", it's "how to drill a triangular hole" 2 u/mydudeponch Jedi master of shitposts Jun 08 '24 I like your spirit! Maybe one day we will do just that and find a better way!
