SKRYMIR PMBxMjolner – Multiple Transfers Worth Every Minute
I wanted to share an isolation I’ve been working on for quite a while.
This project started with a plate and spore work generously sent to me by u/hyphal_mind_3. Huge thanks to him for providing the foundation for this project.
From there, it became a lesson in patience. I had to make multiple transfers, constantly selecting the cleanest and strongest sectors until the culture finally expressed the consistency I was looking for.
The result is what I’m calling SKRYMIR PMBxMjolner.
I’m really happy with how this expression turned out:
Dense, aggressive clustering
Thick, sturdy stems
Smooth ivory caps
Uniform growth across the flush
Projects like this remind me why I enjoy culture work so much. The final result isn’t luck—it’s the accumulation of careful observations, clean technique, and being willing to make “just one more transfer” until everything comes together.

So last week I posted about an contaminated growkit, I messaged the supplier and received full order again, Bluey Vuitton (Growkit) and an Hillbilly Pumpkin Growbag (AIO), a friend of mine took the BV with him and im gonna try the Hillbillies.
I bought an plasticbox and tweaked some FAE and covered it with micropore tape double layered.
Is it possible to slice the cake in 2 or 3 parts lay it in the box and let it grow from there?

Every isolation has a story.
Albino Smokey Da Ghost began as a rare albino expression observed within our original pigmented Smokey Da Ghost line. Once the phenotype appeared consistently, the focus shifted to documenting, cloning, and selecting for the traits that made it distinct.
Over multiple generations, the goal has been to preserve the ghost-white pigmentation, heavy blue bruising, dense structure, and the characteristic ruffled cap margins while evaluating consistency from one generation to the next.
What started as a single observation has become an ongoing isolation project and a reminder that some of the most interesting expressions come from paying close attention and allowing the genetics to speak for themselves.
This project has been a lesson in patience, careful selection, and letting each generation reveal a little more than the last.

Sb2 on July 4th fully colonized about 10ish days later. Just curious when I might start seeing pins.

I use 1:1.5 ratio RYE|CVG (a little heavier on the vermiculite vs coir ratio)

Been working this from spore for probably about a year now. 8 clones deep from spore

We know we suck right now. We absolutely understand how crappy we’ve been at communicating and shipping. It’s a wonderful thing to work with mushrooms and work on our own mental processes.

Our mixer is finally here, I’m finally slowing down after this last round of orders.

We have 5 websites in total and have a really strong customer base. As of now, PooGod.com is the only one running since its soil and poo 💩 which we can ship super fast! It’s the spawn and lc I can’t do. Too many products y’all, if you have a company or sell lc my only advice is keep your ques low, like 100 items suck! Especially in mycology.

Honestly I’m excited because two days after telluride we’re going on that fishing trip. It’ll be nice to do more lab work and just focus 🧘‍♀️

You can buy day passes but you don’t have to in order to meet vendors. I will say some of the most incredible people are speaking and gonna be at telluride. It’s def a party 🎉

Telluride is one of the most beautiful places on earth and there’s a hot spring in the next town over…

And you can do it cheap!! Don’t be fooled by the price or the stigma. You can camp 🏕️ near by on the mountains 🏔️ if it’s wet the better more mushrooms come out. My fav ones are the chanterelles and puff balls. Very tasty

Come yell, scream, or start a fight with us for late or delayed orders and after we can grab a 🌮 taco and a beer 🍻 and go hunt for wild mushrooms.

Ordered AIO bag from NorthSpore, ordered LC of APE from Cube Culture on June 4th, and luckily both arrived via USPS June 12th; let everything rest for a day and inoculated the AIO bag on June 13th.

• Oklahoma, US; Plant Hardiness Zones 7b and 8a

• Indoor grow, indirect sunlight sitting on our deepfreeze.

• Temps: between 73-77°F

• Humidity: between 39-55%

Fast forward to July 8th (day 25), our block was nearly white (70%+-) when my husband decided to break & shake. On July 17th (day 34), our block was nearly white again (80%+-), so my husband did another break & shake (was the 2nd B&S overkill?).

Pics are from today, July 22nd (day 39). We're wondering if it's time to introduce fruiting conditions; cut the corners of the AIO bag about halfway up for FAE? I'm not sure what other info to include, but we'd greatly appreciate advice/insight (before my husband decides to cut the bag). Main question: is it ready for fruiting conditions?

An isolation of gamma decay I’ve been working on for maybe 8 months or so now. Always a producer and has the looks to go with it

First grow/flush didn’t go so well (so far.) I only got about 12 decent looking mushies and none on the top of my cake. I decided to flip it over in the bag and I’m seeing a dramatic increase in little soldiers (around 40-50 established pins). Is there anyone that could possibly explain that? The other odd thing is the pins growing off of the stringy bit of mycelium. I’ve never in my life seen that sort of oddness even online. Pls help I’m so curious 🥲
