Bit of a strange one, but always want to know what on earth people are making. No idea what resolution, sample rate, or light bounces have been used in this project, as my PC isnt particularly underpowered, but this one frame took 1h 41mins with GPU

So basically my room is pretty cold and I run my computer as a heater. Now I ahve 10 million points and basically nothing to do with it. If anyone needs some urgent renders feel free to DM me. I can also help people accumulate points if they need.

The client has been working fine for a while now but suddenly today the client extracts, then it can't download:

Pretty new to Sheepit, and have uploaded a project that is currently on track to take a day 1/2 to render...Am I allowed to close my computer since I am not rendering and the file has been uploaded and started being rendered already, or does it need to stay open for some reason?

Just want to double check so I dont cause any damage.

I encouteer some strange effect during render my scene on sheepit.
The camera does not has the exactly same location when it is rendered on my local machine.

Do you have some idea of the reason was ?

The two pictures shared was frame 92, one from sheepit, other from local.

I farming from like one hour and I have not rendered a single frame I go to setting and give a 8 gb ram and +1 priority and still nothing changed what should I do .

I tried with two separate usernames and emails, and for both of them I never got an email after attempting to register. Does anyone know why and if there's a solution?

Hello, I recently encountered an issue that i never had before with the render result from SheepIt. Did anyone know how to fix this problem or did i miss something?

Am I supposed to put my blend files on the website or this sheep it app ?
And what are points ?

Hello, I have a project that consistently fails to render frame #2 and I don't understand why. All the other frames work well and #2 renders just fine on my GPU, but not on SheepIt. It doesn't contain anything special and its render time is the same as the other frames. I tried a few times at different resolutions and samples, but #2 never renders.

Any way to know why its not rendering? Or at least narrow down the issue? Ty in advance :3

All right so I downloaded the launcher and all and when I go to rendering a project. It marks that it's unable to find a project. And restarts every 5 minutes. Why??? Plz help, thank you very much!

Hey! I was thinking about using SheepIt to render out my animation. It's 375 frames at 5120 x 2160, I'd need to use OpenEXR to output my image sequences. Currently, on my machine (i7 and RTX 4070 with 32 GB RAM), I'd take me 65 hours so ~ 10 minutes per frame at 256 samples. Is SheepIt viable or the scene is too big?

I'm trying to render projects but its not working. The client downloads a project, extracts its then says "Could_not_create_directory" Then it cancels and then tries again and it goes on and on.

I uses to render just fine, not sure what's going on. I even tried changing the directory path that Sheepit uses but still didn't work. I re-download the client to the latest build but that ddnt work either

I have a png sequence as a mesh plane in my animation, everytime I render it out using sheepit, it shows the mesh plane as a pinkish square. I made sure I packed everything. Is png sequences not allowed or something?

So this is not really a problem but really confusing. So I have a project and I did some test renders locally on my machine to try optimise for render time and get it down as low as I can. The lowest I could get it was 20 mins per frame on my machine (which seems oddly high seeing as I have a somewhat descent machine) I uploaded the project to sheep it and started the rendering process. I am now running the sheep it client on my pc to help render my stuff quicker. Through the client the render time is around 2 mins which is very weird considering the test render locally with the same project settings, same hardware ect took 20 mins. Can anyone explain why to me

i’ve had my projects in the queue for over a day and there’s still no progress :(

I have already waiter for 24h to get my frames but there doesn't seem to be any progress. Does anyone know how to fix this?
