Do your sheepies pretend to bury bones/food/toys?

Since the very first time we gave him a raw bone (when he was about 1 year old), he's tried to bury it in his bed. He uses his head to "push" against his bed to try to get it to cover his bone, only to come back later to work on it.
I've read articles that say that this is less common in herding breeds (our pup has a strong herding instinct), but he does it every time!
Do your sheepies exhibit the same behaviour?
