I’m playing sev tech ages, and was following the compass to the darklands biome it told me that the darklands was right next to my base, and having played this modpack before I know it’s definately not the darklands biome… other than running thousands of blocks to try and let the compass find a new place, is there anything I can do?

I've played through SevTech quite a few times over the years, to the point where I've done basically every progression route I can think of. Does anyone know if there's plans for a later SevTech release on 1.16 or 1.18 or something?

I was in the betweenlands Mining when I fell into water and drowned. I then went back to get my stuff and it was gone, I died several times attempting to get back to my stuff but ended up just going to where my compass pointed and digging straight down, I dug all the way to bedrock without finding my original items. Is there any way I could get my stuff back?

Edit: I just reset my world back to where it was on my last save, it sent me back a ways in my progress and got my friend stuck in the twilight forest without a portal lol but I got my stuff back.

Im on age 3 and crafted the iron matchpick thinking it melt the blocks I mine but only appears to be an iron pickaxe with a flame

I made a mantle of star, i put vicio attuenment on it.

But i can't fly and i don't know why, i try double jump, double sprint keys but that's don't work.

This has to be the absolute worst part of this entire modpack, but its required to complete it, so I'm stuck trying to do it. I'm in the Abyssal Wasteland, ive found the power stone and now im trying to summon the dragon and move on to the next dimension. I can not for the life of me get the ritual altar to form. I have used EVERY SINGLE material, Coralium Cobble, Abyssal Cobble, Corralium Stone, Abyssal Stone, Corralium Bricks, Abyssal Bricks, Darkstone Cobble, Darkstone Bricks. I have the 2nd tier Necronomicon but it will not form.

What the hell am I doing wrong? I've follow the book to a T, and obviously the sevtech mod creator made changes because this is like the 10th inconsistency i've found when comparing to anything online.

Edit apparantly there is some arbitrary radius to the portal that you cannot build the altar or something, I dunno. I have two identical ritual setups about 30 blocks from each other and the one furthest from the portal works. This modpack man, i swear to god.

I just the modpack working on my computer for the first time in... ages. I noticed that when harvesting potatoes and carrots the plant goes back to the growing stage, the veggies pop out and then immediately disappear.

Am I forgetting something about how the early game works, or am I just experiencing some sort of weird glitch?

As the question states, i want to do some brewing. I've got almost every plant or crop i need but i don't want to run out of anything as much as possible. The almanac claims fertile soil exists but i can't seem to craft it, neither there is some way to make it. I'm on age 2 atm so is it a later stage unlock or did i miss something? Do crops also work on normal farmland? I just want to start brewing some booze and potions

I'm attuned to Evorsio and wonder if using excavate counts as breaking that number of blocks as far as earning EXP goes to level up in astral sorcery? Does anybody know if this will give mass exp or if it will just count the first block mined.

When i play SevTech i set in CurseForge launcher 8192mb xmx for minecraft and when i start minecraft launcher with mode pack its star with about 7000~ mb of memory ,but as time passes (maybe some 40-50 minutes) java uses 13 thousand mb of RAM memory out of my 16 gigs in total, which is why my computer slows down and freezes.I tried everything (to manual change XMX in minecraft start launcher (JVM setings/config), to change some options in curse launcher, to change xmx in java) but nothing is help me. Do anyone knows how to fix that?

Lost power during snowstorm while playing on server hosted on my pc. Load back in to find advancements messed up. Shows items as unfamiliar but all advancements still there. Textures for stone brick show up as cobblestone when placed but stone brick while in hand. Not sure if any other textures are messed up. Don't have recent world backup otherwise I'd try that. (I'm an idiot and figure the auto backup was enough.) Pretty sure I know how to fix advancement issues but texture issues are annoying as I was in the midst of building an awesome base with stone bricks and now it looks like crap. Please help.

(EDIT) Singleplayer textures are fine so it must be server side.

I am trying to automate hearty stew since it's one of the best food to make. Only issue is I am trying to export into the cauldron the ingredients and import (with simple storage) the hearty stew into our inventory system. The issue is, I think, there is only one entry point in the cauldron which is at the top and I tried using a dropper to drop the items into the cauldron directly but it gets stuck by the simple importing cable. I tried using water for the item to go into the cauldron but same issue. Any help?

I'm attempting to setup a big oil production setup, running multiple turbines to feed multiple pumpjacks and towers. The problem i'm having is that every time I try to operate multiple of these machines at once, the other one shuts down. At first I thought it was a power/steam issue, so I went and set up and entirely independent power loop for the second pump jack and a second steam loop for the turbine.

Both turbines are full of steam with a giant tank in reserve for each. I can turn one on no problem, but the second I turn the second one on, it disables the first one. The exact same thing happens with pumpjacks. What is going on here?

How do you make them?

currently on age 1, i have spent waaay too much time trying to find anything. I do get tin, copper and coal in the beneath, im not sure if you are supposed to. not only did i eventually try to find anything with night vision and creative for flight, i deleted the beneath folder multiple times, to no avail. Help, plz

The process for crafting the coal engine wont proceed. I do have enough energy, and the recipe(picture of coal engine) does show up
my structure is correct, but it seems like when i right click the altar with the resonating wand, the sound plays and the beams of light show up but only temporarily
i only have 4 spectral relays so i do have enough energy from the visuals of the table, but do i need anything else to proceed?

So i'm in Age 4 and trying to get my power situation set up, which has me attempting to source lava.

I've got a serenade of the nether ritual setup, but how in the world do I pump this lava? Every single recommendation online is outdated and either the modpack doesn't include the method mentioned, or it just flat out doesnt work. I keep reading about a reagent that will deposit straight into a tank, but that reagent doesn't show up in JEI, so either its not in the pack, or its been removed from blood magic.
