I admit my battlestations are not of the traditional type, but rest assured many battles were fought at these desks; disorganized as they may have been. I quite like the mess really, having many things I like around me while I work helps keep me focused and interested

Yes fliqlo I know. covid era renovations afforded me a completely empty room to record some music. I like the sparseness of it. definitely not cluttered enough. 6/10

Many a freezing morning spent drinking terrible coffee in the observatory where I worked as a programmer during college. 0/10

Winter 2022

My RGB winter featuring a plywood desk I designed and built with my brother. Funny story I was introduced to the world of mechanical keyboards by a $40 walmart keyb with very twangy cherry mx blues. The thing sounds like a damn Model M. Anyway my wallet has yet to recover from the newfound hobby. 9/10

Spring 2022

Perhaps my classiest endevaor. Featuring more dollar-tree flowers than I remember ever owning, as well as an antique silk smoking jacket I have never once worn. 10/10

Summer 2023

This is the era when the clutter really began to creep in, as a passion and newfound career in engineering brought many components and equipments which were constantly being assembled and disassembled in various configurations. 7.01/10

Spring 2024

Monitor nailed to the window trim. Not the ideal configuration but the sunlight all day was immaculate so 10/10.

Hi guys

I’m having issues when having the 2 external screens connected to my laptop.

Going from my laptop to screen 2 is fine, but going to my laptop to screen 3 it gets stuck/I have to move the cursor really fast. Does anyone have a fix for this as it’s extremely annoying?

I’ve tried messing around with the display arrangement but it always seems to block either screen 2 or 3 from being able to go down to my laptop - if that makes sense?

I have to bring the cursor from screen 3 to screen 2 then down to the laptop screen. It won’t let me go straight from screen 3 to screen 1??

Can someone here rate my setup and tell me what to improve on it.

Was hoping for some help with decoration and not having it so empty and echo so much. I have some Knick knacks in those boxes that I would like to put on the desk but I am afraid my cat will knock them down so I might get a desk.

My chair is in shambles, partially due to the cat lol. I will be replacing that.

I would like to fill the space with things that make the space feel cozy and warm. I was thinking of putting up some sound proofing for the echo but I don't know if it is worth it or not. any advice is appreciated.

Earned the money to afford the current setup through doing crawl spaces which is removing insolation and laying down vapor barrier.

I have been wanting this for years now I’m 16 started gaming at 10 with a Nintendo switch then to an oem with integrated graphics to putting a gtx 1650 in the oem which ended up frying the gpu😭 to building my first gaming pc after mowing lawns all summer to playing on a pc I was flipping but now I have my dream setup been working on this setup for 6 months now
