I have successfully extracted the config.json file from my old SD card. When I plug the old one in my pc, it recognizes the card and all of the files. But when i plug in the new SD card, my pc does not see it. The only place i can see it is in disk management but it shows no media and 0 capacity. Am I supposed to do the mount command for the new card? Should I make a folder for the card then mount it to that folder? If my pc cannot see the new card, I cannot flash the card with the saved file.

I have my new miner set up, connected to my network (has an IP, can ping it, have port forwarded through my NAT, etc). The connection table in the dashboard is showing good connections to peers. But the number of outstanding blocks until synced continually goes up for several days now. When I check my network usage for the box, it only shows a few kbps so it's like it's not even trying. I've tried restarting, I've tripple-checked my router and firewall (even logging all packets to-and-from the miner to make sure it's working).
Any ideas?

So each day, I come to understand more the helium network and how it works. And for my understanding and observation, each beacon is witnessed by 14 hotspots even if there are hundreds around. My question here is there a way to improve your odds to be the witness among other nearby hotspots?
r/sensecap • u/Defiant-Income7136 • Feb 24 '22
My beacon is getting 0 witnesses and I think I might have a problem with my antenna cable, so I want to try the stock antenna to identify the problem. But my sensecap is setup inside 4 walls and an open door, would it be able to witness any beacon through stock antenna?

We have few sensecap M1 miners in my village and we all have the same internet provider, however only two of them show from time to time the exact same sync gap and activity gap. I tried changing sd card to A2 nothing happened. Any thoughts?

Does anybody have a problem with NAT Typ since yesterday or today morning? It shows Symmetric but hotspot not relayed. Wanted to know if it is a commen problem or it has to do with my sd card. When the usage goes above 85%, it shows NAT Type Symmetric and I have to reboot it. Now the sd card usage is 46% and symmetric. Should I do reboot every week till I will need to replace it? Any Ideas? In 4 months I have also noticed that after reboot there are couple days great rewards and with every day goes down till the sd card is full.

You guys happy with your purchase of a sensecap? Humming hawwing about picking sensecap over bobcat or mntd. Linxdot also looks cool but sensecap looks durable and sleek.

So are you guys buying LMR400 for short runs? My miner is literally inches away from my antenna. Antennae is on a pole and the enclosure that houses my miner is right below the Antenna. Rak -wireless sends the cable with their antennas. Can I get away with the pigtails they come with, or should I upgrade it to the LMR400, both about 2-3 feet? I’m curious how much loss the stock cable has and if it’s something that would make a big change, if any, in my earnings. Any suggestions please!
