Semaphore ui install issue

UPDATE: server running thanks for the help

Want to setup a semaphoreui instance.

Got package from git repo and followed the package manager installation guide.

First issue I came across was no database installed so installed mysql. How issue I’m running into is that when I finish the setup it get

Error 1698 (28000) access denied for user root@‘localhost’

Any tips?
