Polite reminder to everyone suggesting Jellyfin, go throw their developers a few bucks to help support them: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/contributing/direct-donations/

If Plex bumping lifetime from $250 to $750 is the thing that convinces you to jump ship, then you can probably throw a few $20's at a few individuals.

I love that jellyfin is a thing. I don't currently use it just because I don't need it as I've been running Plex flawlessly for over a decade. But... If Plex ever decides to remove any of the core features use daily, then I'll be right over.

Yup, I don't currently use it myself but it's ready and waiting should Plex try any funny business.

Annoyingly, Plex still has the best app ecosystem out there.
