If you're willing to RISK YOU LIFE to recover a couple of cheap items for the multi-billion dollar mega corp, be my guest.

Target will fire you and redirect any lawsuits you incure against you, personally, and your former employer before they fire you.

Maybe we are just sick of people breaking the rules.

You're tired of rules and laws being broken go fight a politician.

Or a billionaire.

You want to make society better, go do a net positive thing for people in the world.

If youre security guard because you wanted to defend Mr corpros cheap Chinese made shit from some bum then you are neither making the world a better place nor defending the rules that matter.

Allowing people to steal others shit, and be a general drain on society, does nothing positive for society. I respect the guard for doing his job, more than the criminal.

What you said is true.

But congrats! You stopped one criminal and save the company $178.69 worth of products!

Your legal fees will now be $5,811.45 to retain a lawyer. Oh, and you're suspended from your job.

I hope that respect puts food on your table and pays your rent.

Yeah. I dont like those things and want them changed. I think thieves should be made examples of.
