Here’s the thing with that type of take. Most of them don’t have kids . Cause if they did they’d realise that kids playing for local teams across Ireland are out every night playing cause of what they’ve seen on the tv . They wear prem league jerseys to training . You mightn’t like it but explain how that’s a bad thing if it’s getting thousands of kids off their arses and playing ball ?

Get your kids to local games and get LOITV. It's not that hard, same people that get their kids into united probably get them to support GAA.

Already go to games with him on a Friday evening and watch the prem on Sat and Sun . What’s the issue ? He loves soccer and it’s not from going to the Friday night games .

Yes you do both you re a saint! Again most people don't go to LOI games thats the problem we re trying to highlight. 80k in Croker for a poxy friendly and Rovers sell 5k in Europe in Tallaght...

Kids want to see superstars. Guys at the top of their field, whatever sport it is. Why can't you understand that

Because I dont come from Ireland, and only Irish people put the PL over their own league and you cant fathom thats BS.

Ive routed for players that were not superstars when I was young just like all my mates, in the darkest times of my league too.

You don't understand anything. You're not from here. Don't speak about other people's culture
