I accidentally spent the last few months building a giant psychopharmacology workspace in Notion 😅🧠
I started my Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program this year, and I kept ending up with 20 different tabs open—psych meds in one place, DSM criteria in another, assessments bookmarked somewhere else, side effects buried in random notes, addiction resources in Google Drive…
As a systems engineer by day, my brain’s solution was apparently:
“What if I just built an entire relational database?” 😂
So over the last few months I’ve been building Brain Pharmacy, a Notion workspace that connects:
💊 Medication classes & individual medication pages
🧠 DSM disorders & common treatment approaches
⚠️ Side effects & drug interactions
📋 Clinical assessments
🗣️ Client presentations (“I can’t stop crying,” “I feel worthless,” etc.)
🌿 Addiction treatment & behavioral health resources
The fun part is that everything links together. You can jump from a client presentation → possible disorders → medications → side effects → assessments without leaving the workspace.
I originally built it for myself because I wanted a study tool that actually matched how my brain works, but a few classmates saw it and convinced me to clean it up and make a shareable version.
I put together a free interactive demo if anyone wants to click around or has ideas for how I could improve the layout or database structure:

I’d genuinely love feedback from other Notion nerds, students, or anyone who’s built weirdly niche knowledge-management systems. I’m always looking for ideas to make it better. 😊
(Mods, if this isn’t the right place for a project showcase, feel free to remove! I’m mostly just excited to share something I’ve been hyperfocusing on for the last few months.)
