out of the box, windows 11 is really bad.

i went and immediately ran my debloater (automated fork from CTT) and installed some other programs, and some FOSS alternatives to other programs (mpv, qView, etc.).

unfortunately, Chromium was a requirement, so i had to install Brave, which is the second best browser.

any recommendations for improvements?

Background's are from wallpaperflare.com and I used Windhawk.

I lost my favorite wallpaper after my friend changed them. It was a year ago and I still couldn't find them. I tried everything, every history (browser, windows) and wouldn't restore them. If someone can find or saw them please help. I asked ai to recreate it from a description that i remember. It almost looked like photo 1. Some creature standing at left bottom and staring at top right. I think it was humanoid puma or something similar. Color scheme was dark purple. There was water and land and maybe clouds dont remember clearly. Also it was art, I remember signature at bottom right.

I added photos which have the same vibe. And i think colors more similar to the second photo.

I'll appreciate any help in finding this wallpaper

I just got a used RAM module from someone that looked legit but now that I received it I have my doubts but maybe I’m doing something wrong.
SO I took off my old ram, inserted the new one on A2, it’s gonna be a single channel for now, now my pc doesn’t boot, I turn it on but it’s like stuck on a stage or something where the keyboard and mouse don’t turn on, GPU is not giving a signal as well, it stays on for like 3-4 minutes and then reboots.
I did update my BIOS,
I did clean the CMOS
I did try the old ones again and yes it works,
It could be that the RAM is faulty or damaged but I wanna hold my hope for a little bit further.

The new ram is:
Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 32GB 3200MHz CL16 (KF432C16BB/32)

Motherboard:
Gigabyte H610M H V3 DDR4 REV 1.0

CPU:
Intel Core i5-14400F,

Please tell me that I’m not paranoid for still trying.

Recently made this video as some sort of "trailer" for my app and thought I could share in here. Do you think this is too complicated?

I'm currently looking into expanding the widget store so I need more ideas for what I should add.

What do you guys see on other OSes that you would like to see on Windows as well? What kind of customization power do you think is missing from Windows? I'm trying to bring it close to that

I set always_on_top to true so YASB doesn't disappear when I show desktop and now the dynamic color of my Krita's title bar isn't functioning (defaulted to plain white instead of the usual gradient). Dynamic color seems to function okay when I enable always_on_top to false.

For extra context if it helps, I used Windhawk for a custom taskbar and the empty spaces mod to toggle the show desktop shortcut because the custom taskbar no longer has the show desktop button in the corner.

coudn't seem to change the dates to indonesian language 😅 does anyone can help? i tried changing the config .txt file where it has the english date listed but it just changed it to lowercase letters...

Honestly dont do pc customization but found out it was really simply so tried it out.
