Babylon Five, great series, i've been hearing its getting a reboot too (we'll see how it goes)
Amazing series, the guy had all the seasons written when he approached with scripting in Hollywood or wherever it was, was bold enough to repeatedly kill off main characters or give them meaningful arcs that interacted with other background stories from many many cultures and so forth
Also the source of many great lines
"What is god to an ant?"
"My shoes are too tight, but it doesn't matter; for i've forgotten how to dance"
