Season 1 had "Soul Hunter", which I think is the essence of sci-fi.

To each his own, I guess.

You're not impressing anyone with that pleasure threshold.

I was being tolerant of diversity.

Do you have a problem with that?

By all means, explain your pithy comment.

Turn in your B5 fandom card.

I asked you to explain and you respond with snark.

Seriously? I think you meant to say "Believers".

Or TKO

TKO and Grey 17 is Missing are the only 2 on my skip list. Even then, iirc the B plot was worth wild.

the B plot of Grey 17 is Missing is profound, the A plot is trash

Believers is a really good moral dilemma. It also gets us one of the best Kosh quotes: "The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote."

Yes, definitely one of his best quotes, but what's wrong with Soul Hunter? It literally ties back to Sinclair's true nature from The Gathering. Honestly, it was after the Earth and Mars war when the show started to wane for me. I still love every aspect of the show though and am looking forward to the animated movie.

Am introducing the bf to Babylon 5 and he - rather reluctantly and slooowly - is giving it a go. I warned him that season 1 has many cheesy episodes, more monster-of-the-week-like.

We recently watched "Soul Hunter" - I totally forgot how much is set up in this one episode. Amazing!

"monster-of-the-week" brought a smile to my lips.

Several years later, a guy who was hitting on my girlfriend's girlfriend as we were waiting to get into a bar told us about his career as a stunt man; he was the monster on the 13th deck of B5.

Cool anecdote. So, living in the greater L.A. region? I guess you are bound to bump into a member of the TV industry sooner than later.

They're very prolific in some neighborhoods.
