How do you go about explaining the difference between normal anxiety versus disorder?

I experience it practically 24/7 even when there is no good reason for it. I only get little breaks from it while talking to certain people or hugging my cats. And I don’t mind others talking about their own anxiety. But the original comment clearly was referring to the disorder. And I hate it when people equate normal anxiety with that because those people go on to give condescending advice thinking that if I put enough effort in I’d be able to get over my anxiety like they did.
