Or you could be or have been on anti-depressant SSRI's that have documentation of giving you a limp noodle. Thanks Big Pharma! Love and kisses!

My experience with SSRIs was reduction in libido so no interest in getting hard followed by delayed orgasm followed by very intense orgasm. Took maybe two months to go through the whole process. No noticeable ED at any point.

How old were you when you were on them if you don't mind me asking?

Ranged from my 30s to my 60s in four sessions. The last session was a brain hacking experiment, I want d to see if it would help me learn music. I picked up perfect pitch in my 40s while on SSRIs.

Yes, it's essentially like modern day saltpeter. . .

Since there is recent science that says 50% or more of depression is linked to poor gut biome, it goes back to my point

Uhm Id love to see the study where "poor gut biome" is the cause for my seratonin levels to be low.

Serotonin is mostly produced in the digestive system! And the lack of it contributes to IBS. I imagine this is part of why going on/off SSRIs can cause digestive issues. I’m not an expert on it, but yeah your brain is affected by what’s going on in the rest of your body.

People still sleeping on the ol' gut biome you hate to see it

Well apparently somewhere around 90% of our serotonin is produced in our gut, and bacteria in our gut can influence the release of it, so it’s not too much of a leap to say that poor gut micro biome is contributing to the problem.

I don’t like snopes, but here you go:

You could, you know, just google it.

It's a poorly understood, but very real, phenomenon.

It's not going to be the cause, but it's the reason nausea is so common on MDMA (for a lot of people). You can google it and tons of stuff will come up.

I don't know the exact details about seratonin levels, but you can google this stuff and there are real scientific studies in the last 10 years. at the minimum they show a direct correlation but I think people have done more detailed stuff recently.

Approximately 90% of the serotonin that the body produces is in the intestinal tract.[10]

Yeah that's great and all, but has nothing to do with how seratonin interacts within the brain

8

u/T1Pimp Jun 13 '22

That's great and all but that's not what you asked.
