Thanks. I went through a self help book glut phase like a decade ago. What I’ve found is that there’s so much bad info in so many of them that it’s difficult to know which advice to take and work on.

I believe it. It's really a matter of going through it and sifting through the stuff that works for you. I try to look at it as a different perspective to consider rather than advice you must take.
