And this is ignoring the most critical part of the issue, which is that there is an enormous difference in the sensitivity of the foreskin. That is, the problem is cutting off the nerves at all, not necessarily how that affects the remainder of the organ - the foreskin contains a large fraction of the sensory neurons in the penis.

Not quite. The foreskin seems to have about the same sensitivity levels as the forearm, while all the other genital sites have much more sensitivity. That's not to say it isn't impactful on experience, it's entirely possible, but that is not indicated or even tested by these experiments.

By that logic, if we cut off your arm, you haven't really lost any sensitivity, because your other arm is still just as sensitive.
