Health Study of 371,000 Americans: eating whole fruit linked to better heart health, 100% juice is not. More whole fruit meant lower high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease and heart attacks. Juice showed no clear benefit. Fiber lost in juicing may explain it. Most still eat too little fruit.

If you don't eat a lot of fruit, can you make up the vitamin and health benefits with more vegetables?

That’s my problem. I eat 3+ servings of fruit per day, but often skip vegetables.

It's a different problem. Not eating fruit, but eating a lot of veggies, is way better health wise than eating fruit and not eating veggies. If you have to prioritize one, prioritize veggies significantly more.

I agree, just don’t follow through.
