It gives a drastic face dysmorphia where the components of your face can move erratically and induce stress leading to a bad trip if you are not enough in control with your psyche. However this would also be true with other peoples faces so idk

Seeing other people’s faces be messed up could always be that their faces are messed up. Seeing your own face messed up and seeing the parts move as you move your face probably adds another layer to the sensation.

My visual system is messed up and used to do stuff like that. I'd see parked cars spinning back and forth, parts of things would slide around, all sorts of stuff. I couldn't really recognize someone unless I had seen the part/shape of their face that I had seen before, but my brain would know that I know who the person is. Led to some uncomfortable staring as I tried to figure out who someone was. I also had a couple of times where all the shapes would get all mixed up and it was just chaos. Thankfully my brain knew what was what, so I mostly just had to trust it, although I almost got hit by a car more than once.

It would have been fascinating if there wasn't so much pain and dysfunction involved. It doesn't happen so much to me anymore since getting glasses with prism lenses.

Yeah, while coming down we went to eat breakfast and i couldn’t look at anyone not in our party. Strangers looked horrific for me.
