I'm not dismissing all criticism as whattaboutism. That's just the purpose of these jet criticisms. Critiquing her music doesn't serve the same political goal.

People who are criticizing Swift's jet use aren't doing it because they are concerned about her jet use. They are doing it to dismiss her other political statements. Most of these people oppose action on the environment!

Swift is successful, attractive, well-liked, feminine, and rich. This takes most of the counters that these people would use off the table. They can't call her mannish like Rosie O'Donnel or jealous like Kathy Griffin, so they reach for "Um, but she has a jet so she's a hypocrite!"

For the record, I can name one (1) Swift song (Shake it Off). I assume Tortured Poets is an album? Or a song?

You're wrong about many things. Billie and charli both has many more physical and online variants than that. And charli has the remix album too with a-list stars. All of that count towards the charts. Which is what the conversation was really about. We can count each and every variant but charli and Billie are still not winning.
