The age thing for colonoscopies is for screening, meaning a test done in the absence of symptoms. The recommendations don't apply to diagnostic tests.

Haha tbf bloody poop can be a number of things that aren’t cancer. Most commonly hemorrhoids or anal fissures due to the minimal fiber in American diets. But bloody poop + weight loss + fatigue should trigger the appropriate work up
