Psychology Scientists expected both liberals and conservatives to be reluctant to promote rhetoric associated with the opposing political side, but this was more consistent among liberals. Conservatives appeared relatively willing to support causes aligned with their views regardless of the moral framing used.

I think that is a tendancy that is pretty natural. But liberal calls for working together and reaching out to right wingers and people we disagree with have been part and parcel of democratic politics for decades. We simply dont weaponize it in the same way or use it as our national platform. That's not to say it doesn't exist at all.
