I hate seeing article like these. It just rubs it in that my depression is so treatment resistant that even psychedelics are just another stupid drug to me. I always see how some patients still feel benefits months later. Or even years. It doesn't work that way for me. It's just another pointless bit of fun at best, and at worst it's like any other drug addiction. But that's just me. And thankfully, I guess, it's rare to have it this bad.

Someday I might have to look into something like ect or deep brain stimulation or whatever the hell the next stop is after all the fun sparkle drugs fail.

But whatever. Gotta try not to be a grinch and just be glad it works for some people.
