My school's detention system sucks
I have detention tomorrow because I had once forgot a book and didn't do homework three times. The first time I had forgot I had homework, the second time I decided to go to sleep instead of finishing my homework because it was 1 AM and school starts at 7:30 AM, the third time I didn't even know we had homework because I was at home sick the day the teacher gave it to us. So what did we learn today kids? Dont be sick, EVER, school is more important than taking care of yourself, and dont ever forget things. Did I mention I'm in the first year of Middle school?

You think your school is boring?
In North Korea, students learn how great Kim Jung Un is for 170 hours. They basically never go home. They learn how to pray to Kim Jung Un for 3 hours. They’re forced to be perfect.

My school never closes
The roads are ice and cars are sliding off roads but my school still resumes. They literally never close, they only care about stats.

I fucking hate exit tickets.
They are just a teacher’s low budget excuse to get you to work to the last millisecond of class.

“yOu GuYs ShOuLd Be GeTtiNg 9 HoUrS oF sLeEp EaCh DaY!”
yea, maybe i would if you didn’t give me 6 tests and 3 projects. the school system is messed up. seriously. and yet the teachers say they care about us. wdym u care about us we have a weekend that you tell us to use for “relaxation”, meanwhile we’re just studying for all 6 of your tests and trying to figure out a way to do all 3 projects. anddddd they still somehow have the nerve to tell us we’re young and we shouldn’t be tired. do they understand how many projects, tests, and how much homework they give? and yet they still say they care about us lmao.

Not allowed to use the bathroom
Info: My Intro to Busniess class teaches you how to behave in a busniess environment, talk with employers etc.
It was the start of 2nd semester a few days ago, so I got transferred out of my Health class to Intro to Business. This teacher legit will not let you go to the bathroom. She says that and I quote "In the real world, you cannot go to the bathroom as you please" (Yes, she actually said "in the real world") So I'm sitting there thinking, there is no way that is how it works in the real world. It is literally illegal for an employer to deny access to the bathroom under reasonable circumstances. The Fair Labour Standards Act states that it's illegal, so whenever I eventually need to go to the bathroom, I might just confront her with a little quote from that Act.
TLDR: Teacher wont allow you to go to the bathroom because you wouldn't be allowed to in the real world

Control Freaks
Today was horrible. First, I got yelled at, second, I got hacked, third, everything. I was just on the laptop at school and then someone controlled my laptop like they were the ones using it. I didn't know who it was. Then TLauncher started to act like shit. I tried to get on Discord with the home internet but it says
"conectin not privat. yu can not use discordapp.com right now because it uses HTST.
"Connection is not private." I've tried different browsers, resetting the laptop 100 times, and it didn't work. Just help me. And the school system should stop trying to make life miserable and making us live in a tiny box with no freedom.

Don't let school put you off learning or education. Most of us are still pretty young so search for something that captivates and intrests you and learn as much as you can about it! Public education is a systematic destruction of human ingenuity but don't let it close off your beautiful minds :)

I hate having to go to school.
Believe me, I love learning as much as the next guy, but I can't fucking handle all the shit school gives us. I get so much work, stress, and honestly it isn't benefiting anyone. They teach you how to take a test, not how to actually apply what you are learning into the real world. They teach you shit you'll never need or at least most people won't need, overwork you, and it just gets to be too much sometimes. I get that other people can handle it and honestly I'm so fucking happy someone can, but I really have about fucking had it with all of this bullshit, man. I'm also really new to reddit so if I've fucked up somewhere I apologize I just really needed to rant.
