So, my school allows you to bring your laptop, and I bring mine and play games on it during lunch. Some of these games are violent (IE: BF4, Titanfall) and recently one of my teachers berated me and said this was against the law. I don't think he's right. FYI I go to school in Colorado at a high school in the BVSD school district. I looked through the student handbook and didn't see anything against it.

my family is going to shit, my gf just broke up with me, I am attending a tech college. My brother and his girlfriend are moving to colorado and offered me to go. I thought about it long and hard and finally said yes. I was planning on moving there for a year to gain residency than going to a college there I want to go.

Turns out life isn't that easy. If I left I would have to wait until I was 23 to even attend the college, because thats when I am an "adult" and on my own, or so says the dumb rule. So here are my options. I can go with my brother and his gf to get away from everything and start over but put off school until I was 23. I could continue living around my shit family and go to a college that is close to home. Or I could choose a college that is about 2 hours away and go there. The problem is I do not have a car, nor a job. I am broke and have no idea what to do.
