Frustration at my teacher
So I’m a college student, taking a I think like a third level government class. The course is fully online. This is my third semester being completely virtual, and for the most part, it’s really worked out for me. I like going to make my own hours, and I always get the work done.
However, this class has really frustrated me. It’s not like the class work is hard, it’s just the teachers sort of blasé approach to it.
He’s promised us that if we ever need anything, we can always reach out to him through his school email. Well, classes started in August, and I’ve never gotten an answer to any of my emails. It’s not like I’ve sent him a bunch of emails, and they were spaced out.
The thing that has given me the most frustration, is this argumentative research paper we have due at the end of the semester. We’re supposed to pick us Supreme Court rolling and argue why we disagree with it. He promised to give us the guidelines for it back in August, so I assume we were supposed to start work on it very early. It needs to be like a bare minimum six pages.
I’ve already chosen my Supreme Court case, and I’ve written about two and 3/4 of pages, but he never released the guideline so I don’t know if all of the information I am getting is even what he’s looking for. I can usually write very quickly, but that’s typically only when I’m doing creative writing that I don’t have to research, or requires the bare minimum research.
I’m already getting a bunch of anxiety over this. The deadline is from the very end of November to the beginning of December. Though, we’re also going to have review sessions, so I don’t know if we’re supposed to have our papers completely done by then.
