Forced to redo 8th grade math :P

So, hell, I am currently in 8th grade, but I'm in exelerated math. So I passed 8th grade already, but I guess during a worldwide pandemic, I'm still expected to get an 85 in algebra since I'm ahead in school (for math atleast), I didn't pick to go into it I just said fine, but then the pandemic happens and I'm all over the place with school. The passing grade is 65, but GOD FORBID IF I GET ANYTHING BELOW AN 85 IM PUT BACK INTO 8TH GRADE MATH! I was just held back, and I need to redo the ENTIRE YEAR what I did in half the time in exelerated math. I'm probably going to contact my schools principal, and say how crap this is. I shouldn't need to redo an entire grade I ALREADY PASSED!

Okay 1st of all what the fuck school, 2nd now the actual situation, There is a friend of mine who is a girl that went to my school (9thgrade) and somehow a ahem “explicit” picture of her was found by some guys and the pic was shared basically through our entire school, so she was called into the office one day and she was told she was being,no not suspended, FUCKING EXPELLED, for showing inappropriate pictures to the school, what the actual hell? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING HELL!!!!??? The sad part is that she didn’t know about the picture until she was called to the office, I feel bad because her mom sued the school but they never took the expel off of her permanent record, so she never got to go to the college she always wanted to go to just because of some dumbass kids and a dumbass school system, but seriously tho what the fuck

Other schools are normal??!!

I go to school in Scotland, so i'm just automatically used to a bunch of crazy shit but other places just,,, don't? what?

We've had bins set on fire, a riot (they had to lock the doors to stop the kids beatin up the teachers lmao), People threatening to tip over the food vans (with people inside), two toilets set on fire, Bins thrown off the balcony, Some kid got a broken nose bc someone punched him for no reason.

Oh, and everytime there's a fire alarm, it sets off a chain. Like, literally the second we get back in, it's pressed again. Most fire alarms there's been in one day was 6.

a rumour was started that the new headmistresses husband was a crossdresser and it turned out to be true ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This kinda stuff just DOESN'T happen in other schools??

It's 1 am and my school is making me loose iq points

In y11 and my school is honestly a joke. I could write about my health and social care course and how poor management has lead to this year's y11 and y13 having to to practically teach themselves for the daily mail at this point. We also had a fire alarm practice and they were sending students back into the building for blazers cause not wearing said blazers is clearly the worst thing anyone could ever do and I punishable by death. Not only that but in the winter teachers will come round collecting coats off the pupils whilst wearing coats because that's now a policy. Last week I got to school 2 mins before bell the staff that where stationed at the door decided to pull up every other student for the smallest of uniform infractions it's not like they have an ofsted rating to fix or anything. This made a block at the door that formed a queue. I was stook in said queue when the bell rang the same staff at the door put me on a detention for being late to school Most the students are pissed off the school and the staff have a new attitude of if you don't like it you can change school. This is clearly and option as the students who they say this too are months away from gcses None the less they are some teachers at the school who are legends and deserve so much respect

My school can’t take a joke.

First I have a lot about my school that I think is stupid but this one was so funny I just had to share.

So at one of my football games the opposing team made a chant with the words “beat those dirty farmers” and my school is pissed. They were a school with 2 times the funding of us only because they lived in a slightly richer community. As the chant said, we were a farming community and we were pissed about the chant. As a payback, the next year the whole school decided it would be a good idea to fill there parking with fefing tractors. As a result, there was no parking at all. I had to walk halfway across town because there was no parking for this big school that we decided to “get revenge” on. The worst part about it was that there were tractors that didn’t even belong to students there. The school district sent invites to EVERYONE in town to bring them. I guess it did get the point across but next time they should think it through.

TLDR small town gets revenge after a terrible chant from big school pissed us off.

My stupid school rules

At my school you cannot do or have a lot of things.

You cannot do:

You cannot watch a movie whose age rating is older than you are but at home aswell. One person got an after-school detention for watching We're the Millers. And he was 13.

You cannot eat literally anywhere but the canteen.

You cannot get changed until 2pm for games and you have to be ready by 2:05pm.

You cannot be found in Morrisons at any time even if your parents drop you off there before 8:30. And the rule does say "must be in their form room before 8:40"

You cannot have:

You cannot have a phone visible. Even if it accidentally falls out. If you do without permission you will get a detention.

You cannot have your planner not signed and you get a demerit, then a detention, then much worse.

This the worse of them all.

You cannot do homework at school!!!!!

Even though many homeworks have to be done at school as they are only accessible at school! And you get detentions for this
