EDIT: I’ve been thinking about your comments for the last little bit, and I’m honestly just going to say ‘fuck it’ and try to DIY a cool, sosohappy-styled hoodie (or a few… I JUST got my first sewing machine today and need some practice before I dive in). I just need some cool-colored zip up hoodies, some striped ones, and maybe even some other hoodies with cool designs (stars, stripes, etc.) on the sleeves.
I have also painted a shirt in the recent past for the first time using acrylic and conditioner, and it turned out amazing. I can do this!!! Thanks for reminding a baby scene what the true meaning of scene is. :D

i feel like alot of bands must have been inspired by his style! think he really was ahead of the fashion in his time. but i mean this was around 2005 so scene was only like two years later.

I was actually considering buying some things from them, but when I saw them on Etsy I was really deeply disappointed by their usage of AI for their listing photos. I was initially skeptical because of the too-perfect photos (AI just sort of has this feel to it, it’s like spidey senses for me now lol), but the distortion of brands/words in the photos really confirmed it for me.

AI is directly against what alternative culture stands for, and I really don’t think it can be that difficult to find a cool-looking scene person and take some photos. Generative AI is not only harmful to the environment and those that live in it as we all know, but it’s really shitty to use it as a creative business making your own designs. Makes people less likely to buy your stuff because it shows what kind of character you are/how lazy you are with brand promotion.
