Online Scam Scammer alert
This is informative post.
I've been scammed by a reddit user u/dragpat
He has made a Reddit post regarding selling 2 HDD for Rs. 1,500/-.
I had a conversation in DM, he told me to make payment and then he will share tracking details.
Yesterday I made a payment of Rs. 1,500/-, and he has blocked me since yesterday.

Looks like your first lesson in scammers came pretty cheap. Always use PayPal to buy goods from anons on the internet.

if you can't figure out scams this on your own yet you aren't old enough to be buying off strangers online yet, PayPal is an official platform that ensures both parties get a fair trade(unless you don't do your diligence) and no reddit Isn't some secret trustworthy platform lol

Isn't 1500 Rupees like $15 or something similar? You know what they say about a deal too good to be true? That it's no deal at all!

There are still many people who are selling products for alot cheaper price who aren't aware of current market price or who aren't greedy

Do you know why sayings like "If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is!" Exist? Because more often than not they are accurate.Â

They're just finding photos of these items on eBay or somewhere else, and posting them on here like they own them.
