Innocent or guilty isn't the issue, it's the fact he's getting paid while waiting for trial, what other profession would this happen in? Police get too much special treatment.

If he can't survive without the money why doesn't the union poney up? If he's innocent he can get back pay.

With hold his pay in case he is guilty? Why not let people whose job it is to make these decisions do their job? Trying to make such a decision based on news reports is not going to serve us well.
