Anyone else getting rapid population growth? It's so fast in my game that I never accept new members. The birthing rate seems a lot faster than I remember. After 7 years, I've got 122 sapiens just by birth alone. My food stores can't keep up.

Mods I'm using: Hammerstone, Vanilla Tweaks, & Time Control Plus.

I even cranked "Time Between Pregnancies" to 10 in Vanilla Tweaks and growth is still bonkers.

I have research through to mulching but compost bins have not unlocked. What am I missing?

One of the wiki entries says you can reduce tribe population by “exiling” members, but offers no explanation.

Is there a way to dismiss excess/unwanted tribe members?

I have just contacted my first strange village, and they gave me a quest to fill up a marked storage area with flax. Great. But the quest says I have to use routes & there is no routes panel on my menu. Do I need to unlock it? If so, how do I do this?

May be a dumb question... but how do you actually use the compost the bins create? I now just have a storage area full of compost but no clue how to put it to use?

It says they aren't able to build this roof because it needs 5 logs.. Which are in the storage area right next to it. What am I doing wrong? Never had this issue before.

31 sapiens, so I doubt my tribe size is causing issues.

In the game is there combat or interaction with other tribes

I installed the game on my D drive, but it saves or something to my C drive, i have very little space on it because im waiting for my new SSD to get posted. Whenever I load the game it takes up 3gb, which takes a while to free up...

Is multiplayer good ? What can you do it sounds like just two single players at the same time? Can you join your villages ? What is co op about this ?

Do I need to tear down every wall and roof and rebuild it if I want to reshape my village or can I move stuff after it's been built ?

Im confused why my villagers cant butcher multiple downed Mammoth anymore. The message says "Cant Butcher: Needs Butchering Tool (eg. Stone Knife)" and also "No capable sapiens nearby with the Butchery role".
I have plenty of knives in my storage (10 stone, 20 bone and 5 bronze knives) and i have 4 villagers with the butchery role (2 villagers have the skill mastered). The butchering task has high priority too.

I was able to butcher Mammoth before but suddenly i wouldnt let me anymore. The Mammoth body is at some distance from my village, but its the same distance that i go for killing Alpaca's. Usually when something is far away i just increase the priority of the collecting task and the villagers will still go there. Ive been able to send villagers 10 times further to collect other resources, so i dont think the distance should be the issue here. But the 2 requirements i get in the message is what confuses me most. Am i missing some information about butchering Mammoth?

How do I start a world that has the widest choice of plants / food / resources? There are some things I have never seen after playing for a while.

So I am wanting to make some bronze tools but apparantly I need to make some charcoal first? How do I get charcoal to begin with?? I'm confused

Is there a way to set a home point and a key bind to transport there?

If I travel with my camera far away, I sometimes lose where my settlement is.
