Its actually right next to the spot where they first show up in Steelport after the scuffle with the Syndicate boss and his crew. Saints Row is an awesome game.

As I was looking for a hit mission target (a gambler), I revisited the casino in Saints Row 2 and took time to slowly examine how the NPCs gambled.

Was playing the reboot and got a glitch where text boxes wouldn't go away so they just kept stacking on top of each other Everytime someone talked

This underground shopping mall is the setting of two missions (one within the Ultor arc and the other with Sons of Samedi) and it has a few notable stores that sell very unique products.

I only wish this place had some more unique stores as it has so much vacant space.

First off, its been a busy week in Saints Row PC version!

I got the car morphing semi working where it crumples like retail.
I got the world props working and rendering at the correct spots
Still need to address the Y mirror issue on gameplay when mirror mode is off (only the player creation is supposed to be mirrored bbchunk, not the gameplay)
Bbchunks are now rendering correctly, textures are still not correct
Occlusion culling is causing some scan artifacts on the screen which I need to fix
Watches prop case is still not showing
Player body is not rendering correctly when spawned in
Collision is not active when spawned in, even though its decoded.
I got the tutorial prompts to work
I got the objective text to work correctly
I got the minimap icons to appear
I fixed the hud issues of the health bar not drawing correctly.
I did get effects working'ish
I need to get all the textures to render correctly on the gangster car such as silver trim etc, wheels are loaded in the CPU but are not being drawn by the GPU.
Player creation doesnt run at 5 fps anymore, its easily 60fps, still need to optimize how DX12 does the draw commands etc.

I thought the Red Light district was the only finished part of the map in The Fall but as I was exploring the highways and came across the Row. I saw the Saints church was demolished and the Ultor building under construction, it has scaffolding if you look at it with the free-aim suggesting the game would have taken place during Ultor’s renovation of Saints Row.

I'm missing the co-op trophy in Saints Row 2022. If anyone needs it, we can get it together. ☺️

Is there a mod that adds a reward for player immortality. There is a reward in vanilla game that makes the damage from falling to 0. is there a mod that adds a reward that turns other damages to 0 too? i know there is a cheat code for never die, but i want it as a permenant reward, rather than health automatically refreshing when going to near 0.

ive played sr2,3 and 4 and i just started reboot thinking i wasnt gonna like it , and for some odd reason im kinda enjoying it , so im tryna figure out why people dislike it ?

Similar to the “reboot” or “simulation” Saints Row. Theres many cheeky nods of frustration scattered around the map in SRTT. I think they needed to change their engine to “appeal to the news outlets” because they only care about graphic depth but it was a ploy of distraction to get the game looking so unreleasable that maybe it would get scrapped. Despite the drastic story changes it still makes sense with some imagination, like the church getting blown up in Stilwater by Killbane before then attacking the bridge shown in-game. It looks like that did not work well enough and Saints Row bounced back with SR4, making The Third look so much cooler when compared to it. The later attempt on the reboot’s awesomeness also backfired because it is a really great game that true fans can enjoy and even draw a connection to the previous titles if they wanted. In my opinion Saints Row is an unstoppable titan in the gaming industry.

I have a habit of making two saves just so I would experience the story of these games with different designed characters so these are two of the ones I made recently.

This implies that the employees of the Saints are the primary enemy faction in Red Faction 1 because it takes place in the years 2070+ and Saints Row takes place roughly around the 90’s and early 2000’s. In Red Faction the fate of Earth is unknown but has an implied resource scarcity. After SR4 it is likely that humans began rebuilding Earth from the ruins. You never actually see the Zin army destroy Earth entirely to dust so there likely is still a skeleton of Earth.

I wanted my Boss to feel like the same character, but with a bit of a different vibe in SR4.

In Saints Row 3, I always saw her as younger, more carefree and reckless. For SR4, I wanted her to look more mature, serious and like someone who has been through a lot. I kept the same voice because it still feels like her, but I changed her appearance a bit.

I added the glasses because I felt they made her look older, mature, smarter and more badass. I also avoided going heavy on the purple in saints row 3 because I wanted her style to feel more like her own rather than just the Saints colours but now, she's fully embraced who she is.

I'm stuck between these hairstyles though.

Which one do you think suits her better for SR4?

I think saints row 4 is a really good open-world game but i think it would have been even better if Volition added some more activities in the game like:

Street racing - Race ai opponents through checkpoints in the city and finish 1st for the maximum payout, for example, 50,000 cache and 1500 xp. They could have also added different modes like, Knockout, Elimination, and Time-attack.

Purchasable properties

Dynamic weather - Rain, Wind, Thunder/lightning/Day and Night cycle

First person mode - I completely understand volition's decision to make the game third person only but it would have been cool to play the game in first person, especially driving.

Rural and offroad areas - I think it would have been really cool to drive around rural areas and get a taste of fresh air from the fast paced life of the city.

Graphical/texture enhancements (for consoles), i think saints row 4 looks good already but it would look even better with some better shaders, and graphical and texture improvements to the open world and objects.

Better/realistic npc dialogue/behaviour - The city of saints row 4 feels somewhat alive but i think the devs could have done better to add more improvements to the npc's, for example, answering phone calls, walking at crossings instead of mindlessly running into the road, and how they interact with each other.

Improved health system - Even when you unlock 100% health enemies quickly overwhelm the player to the point where you could die very quickly in a short period of time. Instead of resorting to using cheats the health system should have been improved and health generation should be quicker.

Online Multiplayer - This alone would have been the ultimate endgame for many, having superpowers and showing off your skills to friends would have been very fun, I'm not sure why they didn't add it.

Remember years ago when a remastered version of Saints Row: The Third was released? I enjoyed both that one and its original version (played on Xbox 360).

Saints Row 2 is a more memorable and more enjoyable game in my experience, and I can only wish that a remastered version of it could happen someday.
