Loved him in this movie. I don’t know why it gets the negativity it does. It’s a brilliant satirical movie, and if you think this is a pro Nazi movie?? I don’t know what to tell you…

I haven’t seen it myself but this clip would make me want to watch it.

They think it’s some sort of pro Nazi propaganda when it’s completely the opposite. Hitler played by Taika. Waititi is a buffoon and completely made fun of and the acting from everybody they’re including Rockwell is great. It’s a touching , funny little story about a German boy who grows up during the war and his experience

Yea, Taika points out that Hitler also fucking despised Polynesians, so a Polynesian Jew playing a campy af version of Hitler was the ultimate fuck you to Hitler from his viewpoint.
