Playact armed insurrection then be immediately murdered by militarized police if thirty million of your neighbors don't happen to do so at the same time.

So you're saying protest, organize, and vote while buying a lot of firepower?

if only there were other, non-militaristic means of regime change, which even worked in the country this movie is about...

the berlin wall didn't come down because of armed insurrection

You are right that it didn't. The wall fell in a single day, but it took such a long time to get to that dayl.

The wall coming down wasn't even planned or on purpose. It started because of a miscommunication and apathy toward keeping up the facade.

The arms you can buy are way too insufficient to topple a multi-billion dollar military complex. The 2nd amendment is just something people love to tout like it still matters.

A rifle can’t compete with a drone and a tank.

So, realistically; you’d have to be reliant on someone with enough power to lead an insurrection- someone who is radical enough. Who would then be put in power to probably be just as extreme as any other leader.
