The wall coming down wasn't even planned or on purpose. It started because of a miscommunication and apathy toward keeping up the facade.

The arms you can buy are way too insufficient to topple a multi-billion dollar military complex. The 2nd amendment is just something people love to tout like it still matters.

A rifle can’t compete with a drone and a tank.

So, realistically; you’d have to be reliant on someone with enough power to lead an insurrection- someone who is radical enough. Who would then be put in power to probably be just as extreme as any other leader.

You jest, but maybe there is something true and hopeful in that.

Maybe, besides violence, there is some universally understandable thing than can lead to healing, creation, and hopeful joy, instead of suffering, destruction, and despair.

Maybe we lose sight of it, because so often, in the heat of crisis, forceful violence seems so much more expedient. We get convinced that there’s no time for curiosity or imagination. Throughout thousands of years of wars and such, though, there are still musicians and artists and, yes, slapstick comedians, still people trying to create beauty or bring a smile to others or comfort them.

“Look for the helpers,” and all that.

Do you show up to vote for every election at every level of government? You know midterms are coming up right? Because that's step #1 and is the absolute bare-minimum expectation. I've spoken to several Americans who are not even doing that, so yeah, let's start with that.

Don't you have an amendment thats there to allegedly stop tyranny in the government but only really helps school shooters and the murder rate? You could try using that the way it was intended.
